Key Ingredients

Octinoxate (7.15% ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate) is an excellent UV-absorbing sunscreen. It is nonallergenic and non-comedogenic and is derived from cinnamon leaves.

Octisalate (3% Ethylhexyl Salicylate) Its primary use is to absorb UVB rays from the sun, protecting the skin from damage.

Zinc Oxide (4.0%) It blocks both UVA and UVB rays and provides the broadest spectrum
protection of any single sunscreen ingredient. Ingredients are also recognized as a treatment for calming the skin.

Kojic Acid Dipalmitate
Kojic acid is a tyrosine (amino acid) inhibitor that can also reduce UV-induced inflammation. It is believed to accelerate wound healing. Kojic acid is naturally derived from mushrooms.

Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice Root) Extract
This botanical extract has been used for hundreds of years in skincare preparations. It is known for its skin-brightening properties and is considered an antioxidant. It is also non-irritating, soothing, and anti-inflammatory.

Shea Butter
Protects and moisturizes the skin. It is beneficial in a treatment cream as it offers excellent skin penetration and is highly emollient.

Avocado Oil is rich in fatty acids and excellent for moisturizing the skin. In addition to vitamin E, it contains potassium, lecithin, and many other nutrients that nourish and moisturize the skin.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol) When applied topically, vitamin E is easily absorbed into the skin. It decreases sebaceous gland activity production and increases skin water retention. It also serves as a super antioxidant and free radical scavenger.
